Jean D’Amour Mutoni 

CEO

Jean D’Amour Mutoni is a Co-founder and incumbent CEO of AOG for which he was presented with 2015 Queen’s Young Leader’s Award. He is a One Young World Ambassador since 2015, a Global Health Corps Alumni since 2011 and currently Kepler University board member. Jean D’Amour is currently pursuing his PhD at the Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium and has earned his MSc at the University of Manchester, UK where he was awarded ‘’ Student of the Year 2016’’. Jean D’Amour combines his experience in activism and science to solve some of the major problems facing Africa today. His vision for the future of AOG is to enhance the aspirations, opportunities and career prospects of enthusiastic and driven young people through education and empowerment.

 

Jean Paul NYIRIBAKWE
AOG Program and Hub Manager

J.Paul NYIRIBAKWE possesses 8 years progressive experience in projects management and delivery youth and adult livelihood Programs. He worked with different local NGO like AERG, GAERG, YWCA as project manager and International organization like Survivors Fund as program  Manager and and He is passionate with Social entrepreneurs and their social enterprises.

Before joining AOG J.Paul was the Managing Director of a growing social Enterprise called AHEZA Busines Group that accommodate a coffee shop and Promotional material printing house to support a local non-profit organization called GAERG: www.gaerg.org.rw   to make impact on Genocide survivors against Tutsi and  deal with Mental Health to Genocide survivors and general population

In his path way carrier achievement, J.Paul  established a social enterprise called Kigali language Exchange; a language and consultancy social enterprise established by Survivors funds (SURF Rwanda)www.survivors-fund.org.uk and Genocide survivor students’ association (AERG): www.aerg.org.rw for mobilizing income as a support to the Education into Employment Programme which helps fresh graduates  reach their potentials through trainings and mentorships program.

Alphonse Rugigana
FINANCE MANAGER.

Alphonse is AOG co-founder and part-time Finance Manager. He has over 10 years of experience in finance, administration and human resource Management both in private sector and nonprofits. His other engagements include working at European Cooperative for Rural Development (EUCORD) as a finance and administrative officer and doing other charitable work with Hopeshine Inc and one help one direction Ihumure both of them engaged in supporting vulnerable kids. Alphonse’s key areas of expertise include finance, accounting, human resource management, business planning, farmers cooperative management and NGO management. Alphonse finds fulfillment in giving back to the community.

 

 

Joyeuse MANISHIMWE
Assistant Accountant

She works as an Administrative Assistant at AOG. She has accumulated over five years of experience in finance and administrative duties both in NGOs and private companies. Prior to Joining AOG, she worked as an accountant for TRUSCO company. Quite often, you will find her making phone calls to remind AOG volunteers about upcoming events and other activities. She also helps a lot with Bank transactions and office management.

 

Francois NKURUNZIZA
Learning and Communication Officer

Francois is a Learning and Communication Officer at AOG,  He hold Bsc Degree of Rural Development and Agribusiness and tangible experience of Business Development, Coaching, Brand Designs and Visual Communications.

In addition to this, he is  passionate for driving success for any organization that seeks to bring real transformation in people’s lives.  Prior to this position, he  worked with several Business  Development Centers and Social Enterprises Operators in the past, including his recent work with the UK based social enterprise called Grow Movement where he was in charge of managing the organization’s projects in Rwanda, and performed different roles of communications and coordinating learning and consulting sessions.

He has also founded Rwanda Digital Business Hub (www.e-businesshub.com) an online entrepreneurial learning platform with a deep interest of empowering youth and women through business education and training of Income Generating skills.  June 2019, He joined  Acts Of Gratitude (AOG) to unleash his potential of turning social problems into scalable social enterprises.

Jean de Dieu Ndayikeza
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Associate

Jean de Dieu is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Associate at Acts of Gratitude. He holds an Associate of Arts in general studies with a concentration in Business from Southern New Hampshire University. Currently, Jean de Dieu is pursuing his BA degree majoring in management with a concentration in logistics and operations at Southern New Hampshire University through the Kepler program.

Out of work, Jean de Dieu uses his leadership and entrepreneurship skills to motivate other young people to critically think about what he/she can do for the community he/she is living in by coming up with a solution to an existing problem.

Cyusa Ian Berulo

Logistics and Recruitment Associate

Cyusa is a logistics and recruitment associate. He is a hard-working, capable, confident, and delighted to instil love, empathy, kindness, morality and humanity into children. He received his bachelor’s degree in communication at the University of Rwanda.  Before joining AOG, He worked as public relation intern at College of Science and Technology.

Out of work, Cyusa enjoys doing physical exercises as a way of enjoying life.

Sanny Ntaganira Aline

Communications Associate

Sanny is a mature, positive, hardworking and self-disciplined young female passionate about using social media for positive change, promoting gender, and empowering youth. She has five years of experience in event management and youth organization leadership through different high level responsibilities she has been assigned to such as being a member of the 2016-2018 AERG committee on the National level and representing youth in various national ceremonies. As a graduate with experience in Estate Management and Valuation, with a passion in Communications, she is excellent in working with others to achieve a certain objective on time and with excellence.

Grace Igiraneza

Fundraising and partnerships  Associate

Grace Igiraneza has always wanted a platform to serve her community. She is a secretary in Tres Toastmaster International public speaking club, Together For A New Africa Alumni and is currently serving AoG as the fundraising and partnerships Associate. Where she is in charge of fundraising strategies and partnerships with potential stakeholders who want to maximize their impact by investing in learning and development.
Before working for Acts Of Gratitude (AOG), Grace has worked in a printing magazine named Light Magazine as a marketing and sales Executive and contribute and has attended different business and leadership training.
She uses her leadership skills and inspirational speeches to empower other youth, she also enjoys being a service to people.
